What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a funnel marketing strategy and why do online marketers need to create one?

It is a marketing strategy designed to attract potential customers to your site. This is a sales process that involves a person visiting your blog to find the information they need to help them solve their issue. Through certain tools, however, you can learn how to develop a relationship and build confidence with every visitor.

This will help you better understand each visitor's needs. This will allow you to give the most accurate information to all your visitors. If you are able to gain trust from a visitor they're more likely to purchase your products. The visitor then becomes a customer.

Many customers end up becoming extremely loyal customers and will purchase almost anything your website sells. A marketing funnel outlines the steps involved in turning a visitor to your website into a customer that will come back to you for all future purchases.

This is the ultimate goal of any internet marketer. It is achievable with a well-designed funnel.

Your promotional materials are drawing attention of people and leading them to the funnel. When they complete the PERSONAL form, they are automatically entered the funnel. I say "personal" because nobody will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They want to be a leader, not an organization.

The page for lead capture is where they begin the funnel. When they click the "Sign up now" or "Enter here" buttons, they are in a position to enter a different world of network marketing.

It's their decision. It's up to them. They don't have to buy your services as a mentor or leader. You could also demonstrate to them how they can increase leads and bring more cash into their businesses.

This is the way a typical marketing channel works.

At the "front-end" you have an offer that is free to draw and attract people who might be interested in purchasing your products later on in the sales funnel. In order to get the free product, people have to sign-up (also known as opt-in) and provide their email address as well as their name which in turn will be added to your list of email subscribers.

Now that you have the contacts in your account, you are able to send related offers to them.

After signing to the offer, they'll be taken to a page that offers an affordable price, or, as it's known, a tripwire offer. This is where they move to the "back-end of the funnel."

If they buy the low-priced offer, they'll be added to another similar offer for a higher price (normally called an "upsell"). Anyone who purchases the lower priced offer will be directed to the next comparable product at an even more expensive price. This can go on and on...
